Dr. Rose Palma is a nationally board-certified and California-licensed acupuncturist and clinical herbalist with over twenty years of experience in East Asian Medicine. Based in Los Angeles, she provides integrative acupuncture and herbal medicine for individuals seeking personalized, evidence-informed care. As a Doctoral Fellow in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine at Yo San University, Rose focuses on longevity, healthy aging, and mental and emotional well-being.
Her clinical approach combines classical East Asian medical diagnostics with modern perspectives on physiology, nervous system regulation, and mind–body health. Certified in Traditional Chinese Medicine Psychiatry and completing advanced postgraduate training, Rose supports patients with emotional balance, stress-related conditions, trauma-informed supportive care, and nervous system regulation. She delivers a whole-person approach to care tailored to each individual.
Rose serves patients across Los Angeles, including Beverly Hills, Burbank, Silverlake, and Santa Monica. Her clinical experience includes women’s health, fertility support, hormonal and metabolic balance, facial rejuvenation, LGBTQ+ affirming care, pain management, supportive care for oncology patients, and integrative support for complex chronic conditions. Rose also mentors master’s-level students as a Clinical Teaching Assistant at Yo San University, supporting clinical education in patient-centered and integrative care.
Rose’s foundational training began at Bastyr University in nutrition and wellness sciences, followed by advanced study in Classical Chinese Medicine and clinical training in Beijing at Dongzhimen Hospital and Tongren Hospital. She is currently completing doctoral-level clinical rotations at the West Los Angeles Veterans Affairs Medical Center and Providence Saint Joseph’s Roy and Patricia Disney Family Cancer Center.
